The Shoe House
The shoe house also known as the “boot house,” this shoe-shaped house was created by artist Ron Van Zyl in South Africa as a gift to his wife. The house is currently a museum.
The Piano House.
This building, famously known as the “Piano House,” was designed by Hefei University of Technology. Both the piano and the violin are at a 50:1 scale ratio. The building currently hosts music events, celebrations, and even weddings.
The Upside Down House.
Famously known as the “Upside Down House” or “Crazy House,” this building is located in Germany and was built in 2011. Every single room, and everything inside, including the furniture, is upside down.

Built in 2004, the Crooked House might seem like a fairytale come to life, but it’s a real and modern marvel. The inspiration for this whimsical masterpiece came from the fantastical illustrations of Polish artists Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.
