The Casa do Penedo, also known as the “House of the Rock,” is a single-storey house made from a massive boulder. The house was built between 1972 and 1974 in the Fafe mountains, Portugal. Originally, the owner intended it to serve as a holiday retreat, but it attracted massive attention online, becoming a tourist attraction. This attention and constant influx of tourists eventually led the owner to relocate.

Today, Casa do Penedo stands as a small museum and a captivating landmark.
