  Mineral Springs. 

The town’s namesake ‘Springs’ have been known for centuries for their healing properties. Visitors can enjoy naturally carbonated waters at several free public fountains throughout Manitou Springs. “The mineral springs here are a natural treasure, offering both refreshment and a touch of history,” says local historian Emily Jackson.

Pikes Peak. 
Manitou Springs sits right next to Pikes Peak mountain. Hikers can tackle the challenging Barr Trail, which leads to the summit, or take the Manitou Cog Railway, a scenic cogwheel train that also winds its way to the top. “Pikes Peak offers unparalleled views and an unforgettable experience for adventurers,” says outdoor enthusiast Mark Stevens.
