Hammock camping in France.

-

In a daring act, climber Mich Kemeter and his friends set up a hammock on a highline at an incredible 300 meters above the Verdon River in France.

Highline:

The group first established a highline (tightrope) specifically designed for walking at a staggering 1,000 feet. Setting it up at such heights was challenging.

Hammock:

Taking the activity a step further, they then attached hammocks to the highline. This created a platform for them to relax on, hundreds of meters above the ground. The group then played music while enjoying the views.

Photographer Alexandre Buisse captured the incredible pictures. Alexandre said, “It was both cool and very funny. People like Mich, Armin, and Niccolò like doing that kind of thing because they can.” He added, “There was no danger involved, though it was, of course, very impressive to be on the highline.”

Overall Significance:

This event highlights the pursuit of pushing boundaries and the climbers’ advanced skills. It’s crucial to remember that such activities require immense expertise, safety precautions, and specialized equipment.
