Evgeniia Ksovreli-Knoott is a Russian-born artist and model known for her dramatic body modifications and extensive tattoos, many of which have a gothic or death-related theme.
Her transformation journey began when she was just 14 years old with her first tattoo. Since then, she has fully embraced the world of body art, tattooing nearly every part of her body, including her eyelids and fingertips. Her bold look is a reflection of her personal artistic expression.
One of her more striking future plans is to tattoo her tongue black, a modification that holds significant personal meaning for her. “It’s a way to remind myself that I should not allow people to hurt me,” she explained, emphasizing how her body modifications are deeply tied to her emotional resilience.
Despite the extreme nature of her appearance, Evgeniia is unapologetic about her artistic choices and views them as an evolving part of who she is: “My favorite tattoo is usually the upcoming one,” she has stated, suggesting that her body art is a continuous journey.
Her unique appearance, however, has provoked strong reactions, including from her own family. Her mother has expressed regret over Evgeniia’s modifications, believing she had failed as a parent, and her son has bluntly told her, “You are ugly.” Nevertheless, she remains confident in her choices and sees her body as a canvas that reflects her identity as an artist.
